August 2012 School Lunch Menu & Program Updates

Due to the growing concern for childhood obesity, the NDAA Hot Lunch program will be making some minor changes to the menu.  Students will continue to enjoy the healthy meal choices previously offered, with an emphasis on the five food groups, portion control and calorie count. Fruits, grains, meat alternative, vegetables, and a choice of either milk or water will be offered daily. None of the students' favorite meals are being taken off of the menu, meals are simply being adjusted to fit these new guidelines.
